Game Review : Disco Zoo!

From the makers of Tiny Tower and Pocket Frogs comes a fantastic new game. DISCO ZOO!

In this game, rescue animals by solving puzzles and then put them in your zoo!

Collect tips from spectators and gain money to help it be successful!
As your zoo gets bigger, travel to different locations to rescue new animals, and even get cool mythical creatures like unicorns!

There is also a disco mode where everybody jumps about to the funky music, (even the builders) you earn double money, and the animals are fully recharged!

I would say that this is a fantastic game and would recommended it to anyone I know! It’s free on the App Store, so go and get it!

Review Of The Week! 19th January

Every Sunday I will be bringing you reviews of my favourite books/Games/Apps/other stuff😄
This week it is on the original,basic game “Thomas was alone” by Mike Bethel.

In this game, Thomas (Red) starts a quest in a world of black blocks to change the world to how the quadrilaterals want it.
Chris, (Orange) meets Thomas and is not happy with him (especially the fact he can jump higher than him)
John, (Yellow) meets the two and decides that THIS, is a chance to show off his jumping skills.
The strange thing about this world is the water, is a No-go zone, but as Claire (Blue) falls to her death, she starts to swim, and then, believes she is a superhero!
Laura (Pink) is a bouncy platform that Chris falls in love with!
But, Laura has sinister pixel cloud following her which Thomas doesn't like the look of, and before you know it, all of our fellow rectangles are swallowed up!

Luckily, Thomas meets James (Green), Our anti-gravity boy,and with the help of Double jumper, Sarah (Purple), they all save the rest
of the gang.

The best thing about this game is it has NARRATION! Plus it is very simple,removes the whole of gaming and starts fresh.
It is £5.99 to buy on the PC and Mac , so get out and get it!

App Review : Hopscotch

Hopscotch is a free app on the App Store vaguely similar to the PC applications “Scratch”
It allows people to give characters direction & also make simple games.

People can upload their creations for people to download and remix.

Overall, I think hopscotch his a unique app which helps kids learn the basics of coding AND have fun at the same time!
